TFM – EZ

Dyneon TFM PTFE was designed to retain all of the advantages of typical PTFE, however with it’s modified chemical structure enhancements are seen gaining substantially lower deformation under load, lower permeation, improved stress recovery and smoother surface finishes.

The use of TFM in seals and gaskets can extend service life, increase reliability and reduce downtime. Select TFM as a replacement when you need to stretch typical PTFE further than it’s limits gaining excellent chemical resistance, very wide service temperature ranges, excellent dielectric properties, resistance to embrittlement and aging, good non-stick properties and dimentional stability.

Available Materials (click material for data sheets when available)

EZ030 - TFM, 100% Virgin – General purpose unfilled TFM for gains listed above. Fantastic selection for cryogenic applications.

EZ031 – TFM, 15% Glass Filled – For applications requiring higher compressive strength and rigidity. This strength will help to improve wear resistance and extrusions resistance in higher pressure / temperature applications.

EZ032 - TFM, Carbon & Carbon Fiber Filled – This is a favorite at Eclipse. Blended to drastically improve wear resistance and extrusion resistance in dynamic sealing applications, we have great success putting this into long running applications when typical PTFE would have been long worn away.

EZ033 – TFM, Graphite & Polyimide Filled – Excellent wear resistance in high speed applications, blended to add lubricity and decrease abrasion over similar compounds.

EZ034 - TFM, 25% Glass – Higher glass fiber content for applications requiring even more strength than EZ031.

EZ036 – TFM, PTFE & Polyimide Blend – Specialty blended material for added wear resistance.
